Easter Baskets with Jess

Easter Baskets with Jess | Rinea

Hello!
It's Jess here today to {inspire} you with some Easter decorations!!  That's right....EASTER!  It's just around the corner you know! ;) I used the Princess Foiled Paper Variety Pack and Emerald/Emerald Starstruck Pack for my first Easter basket. At the end of this post, I will share a non-Easter version using the NEW Woodland Variety Pack (which contains the Mocha/Mocha Starstruck Solid Foiled PaperJade/Gold Glossy Solid Foiled Paper, and Jade/Jade Starstruck Solid Foiled Paper that I used).

Other Supplies:

- Basket Die (I used a Stampin' Up! Sizzix Die)

- Big Shot Machine

 - Tear-ific Tape (double sided tape adhesive)

- Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive

- Easter Stamps (I used Stamps of Life & SparkleNSprinkle Stamps)

- Ink color of choice

- Paper Trimmer

- Scissors

Step 1

Choose your favorite Starstruck Foiled Paper and die cut your basket parts. Fold your score lines, then add your adhesive tape in the proper spots so you can build your basket.

Step 2

Build your basket!  Depending on your die (read your instructions!), adhere the base and tape the sides.

Voila!  The finished basket. They are just so cute!

Step 3

Let's decorate! Grab your favorite Easter stamps and add a few fun accents. For my basket, I used a cute chicky and a "chocolate bunny". Isn't his Fuchsia Starstruck Bow adorable? You can fill the basket with chocolate treats too (I just didn't have any on hand to use - I eat them too fast to buy them this early! haha).

What's an Easter basket without the grass stuffer? I cut thin strips of Emerald Starstruck Foiled Paper to use as my grass!

I also made a non-Easter themed basket using the new variety pack - Woodland!

Jade is just one of my favorite colors of foiled paper - seriously!  I always seem to use it in my projects. Have fun making Easter decorations!

See you soon!

Jess
