Fall Mason Jar Wall Decor by Melinda

Fall Mason Jar Wall Decor by Melinda | Rinea

Happy Sunday Rinea friends!

Melinda here with you today and I am super excited to share my latest creation with you. Here it is!

I really enjoyed creating this project for my fall decor.  It measures approximately 16" high by 8.5" wide. The base is several layers of cardstock cut in the shape of the mason jar. This is to give the project some stability.

Here's a closer look at the lid and the background. For the body, I used some Starstruck Mocha foiled paper. I used two of my 6x12 sheets. It worked out as the seam was covered by the wrap and the label.  For the lid, I used some Copper Glossy foiled paper. For the bottom layer, I used a Copic marker to color over the paper to add a bit of depth with the darker color.

Here is a closer look at my pretty flower. I created it by using the Marigold Glossy and the Copper Starstruck foiled papers along with the new 3D Hyacinth Die! I finished the flower off by adding a couple of leaves using some Jade Starstruck foiled paper. I mounted the leaves and flowers onto a burlap bow.

Here's a closer view of the flower.

For the label, I used some Ebony Starstruck foiled paper and cut out the sentiment I created. This is a great shot showing you how well the paper will cut with your electronic Die Cut machine. I cut this from my Cricut and used the Aluminum Foil cut setting and a very well loved mat. Behind the label, I cut a couple of circles of cardstock and then mounted all of that onto a piece of Gold Glossy Foiled paper that resembles the jar wrap.

In the lower corner, I added a cluster of acorns and leaves. I used Gold Glossy, Copper Glossy, Jade Starstruck and Mocha Glossy foiled papers on these various pieces.
