Using Foiled Paper to Create Dimensional Cards by Jenn DuBell

Using Foiled Paper to Create Dimensional Cards by Jenn DuBell | Rinea

Hello everyone! Jenn here sharing another fun card for our collaboration with Crackerbox and Suzy Stamps! This time I have used the foiled paper to create dimension by building a flower and foliage spray on the front of my card.

Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps:
Fairy With Flower
Butterflies Solid Set of 2

To create my card I used dies to cut petals and foliage from the foiled papers in Silver and Blush.

The Fairy stamp was stamped in black on white cardstock and fussy cut.

For the background I chose a gel press print from my stash and stamped the solid butterflies in a swirl pattern going from bottom to top. Next I  began building the flower.

This was done by gluing each die cut just in the center starting with the largest and ending with the smallest. The petals are easily shaped because of the amazing flexibility of Rinea Foiled papers.

Once my flower and foliage was all adhered and dry I perched the fussy cut fairy on the flower. A sheet of Blush Starstruck Foiled Paper was adhered to a black card base as a matte followed by the main piece.

I added a die cut circle with some stamping and sentiment.
